The Indian Valley Farmstand
The beautiful mosaic tiles pictured in the header of this website were designed and crafted by artist and COM farm classmates, Tilly Nylin, Susie Butler and Elizabeth Pfau. Many other friends and community members also donated their time and creativity to this project. When you are next at the Farm, please pause to savor the beauty of the mosaic pillars. Many of the tiles were created from local clay dug on the farm. And please be sure to look through the photo album at the farmstand that tells the story of the mosaics.
The farmstand structure itself was designed and built in 2013 by then-CCNB Farm Supervisor Henry Wallace, working with an avid team of skilled volunteer artisans and carpenters who were also students at College of Marin. Gratitude to all the many beings who have made this beautiful farmstand possible.
